Cassandra’s Tears

Tears of joy, tears of pain, we are reflected in the salt-water pools we create. So let us build a fleet of paper boats and sail them on our ocean of indecision, laughing at the wind-whipped white-crested waves that would wash over us, drowning us in our own despair, yet somehow never vanquishing us in the end.

Pay it Forward

While this blog is generally reserved for my creative writing, I am making an exception in this one case.

The Happy Seamstress is currently participating in Pay It Forward 2011, a fun little game where you get to receive and give hand-made gifts.

The rules are as follows: I will make a handmade gift for the first five people who comment on this blog post as long as they promise to blog about this and send a gift to the first five people who comment on their blog post.

If you want to participate, simply leave a comment on this post with a link to your blog post. I’ll be emailing you to get your mailing address so please leave your email with your comment.

If yours is not one of the first five comments, feel free to participate anyway! If nothing else, this is certainly a good way to spread the joy of craftiness.
